Four Card Stud

Four Card Poker is a casino table game poker variant played against the dealer. It is similar to Three Card Poker but, as the name says, is based on 4 cards. The player receives 5 cards to make the best 4-card poker hand. A four card straight is a straight, a four card flush is a flush, and a four card straight flush is a straight flush. Unlike the player, the dealer receives six cards to make their best 4-card poker hand. Because of this advantage, the dealer does not have to make a qualifying hand to play. The game was developed by Roger Snow for ShuffleMaster.
Start
Place a bet amount on the Ante betting circles. You may also place an Aces Up wager on the Aces Up betting circle (optional). Once the bets are placed, you receive 5 cards and the dealer receives 6 cards (the dealer's 6th card is dealt face up).Raise
After seeing your cards, you can either fold or stay in the game by making the Play bet. The Play bet must be at least the amount of your ante, and can be up to 3 times your ante bet.
You and the dealer now make your best 4 card poker hand. If the dealer's hand is higher, the player loses the Ante and Raise. If the player's hand is higher or equal then the Ante and Raise shall pay one to one.
Automatic Bonus
If the player has at least a 3-of-a-kind, the player will also be paid a Bonus. This bonus is paid even if the dealer has a better 4-card hand. It pays based on the Automatic Bonus payout table.
Aces Up
The optional Aces Up bet is the player's hand versus the posted paytable. It takes a pair of Aces or better to win. And this bet is not affected by what the dealer's hand is. It pays based on the Aces Up payout table.
